General Description


Animal Husbandry Sciences (Zootechnics) concerns with maintaining and improving animals under domestication that includes breeding, genetics, nutrition, and housing.

Undergraduate courses cover following subjects: Morphological and physiological characteristics and yield capacity of animals from various species, ways of genotypic improvement of yields, nutrition, breeding.


Research Interests

Some of our research interest are: Investigation of milk, egg, meat etc. yield capacity and rates of different animal species, care and breeding methods in animal husbandry, genetic improvement techniques to increase yield.
