The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Ondokuz Mayis University was founded in 1995 in Samsun, Turkey. Today, the Faculty has 23 departments and an advanced Animal Hospital. Most of the laboratories are capable of performing many analyses regarding animal health and diseases. The Faculty has met the quality standards required by the "Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Educational Institutions and Programs of Veterinary Medicine (VEDEK)" and became accredited nationally. The international accreditation process for "The European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE)" will begin soon. Many of our students and faculty members participate in educational and scientific activities in various countries worldwide through exchange programs such as Erasmus, Mevlana, and Farabi.
