Genetics is the science of heredity, dealing with resemblances and differences of related organisms resulting from the interaction of their genes and the environment. Veterinary genetics investigates how and which physical and chemical properties forms the character, how genes passed from one generation to the next and the ways in which genetics can be used in veterinary medicine and husbandry.
